The edges had a foam that rolled up in some places. cheap sticker foam. but it's sitting on sprayed boxed so I just rolled it back out and placed it. not an issue for me. I could see it creating a gap if I were to come loose. And the Latch was giving me issues, make sure it is snug against rail and then pull down to latch it to truck rail or it will not reach and spring kept closing on me before I could get it latched. also be careful folding it, the bends have a plastic cap that could fall out. I might glue it but since the top is always closed it's not an issue. For the price I think it's fine. I don't think I'll use it in summer though but it keeps snow out of the truck bed and my items dry.
