With our head office in Moncton, New Brunswick, we have 44 stores and distribution centres across the country. We are currently seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join our Edmonton team.
The Shipper/Receiver is responsible to ensure product is moved in and out of the Distribution Centre accurately according to customer orders and shipment paperwork.

Qualifications

With our head office in Moncton, New Brunswick, we have 44 stores and 4 distribution centers across Canada. We are currently seeking a Distribution Center Manager for our Edmonton location.
Reporting to the Director of Logistics, the Distribution Centre Manager leads the DC team to ensure product is moved in and out of the Distribution Centre accurately according to customer orders and shipment paperwork. The DC Manager is responsible for all aspects of staffing including recruiting, managing, scheduling, disciplining and Health and Safety of DC employees.
Responsibilities
• Lead the DC team to achieve monthly shipping, receiving and shrink targets
• Perform weekly cycle counts
• Ensure that all company policies are followed
• Hire and schedule employees, address disciplinary issues and terminate when needed
• Implement new policies and operating procedures as necessary
• Perform duties of a shipper/receiver as needed, including lifting up to 75lbs
• Lead safety initiatives and ensure a consistently safe work environment
• Lead, and train team on, continuous improvement projects
Qualifications
• University Degree or Community College Diploma, preferably in business or logistics
• Lean Six Sigma training would be considered an asset
• 5 or more years’ experience managing a Distribution Centre
• Demonstrated ability to work in a hands-on capacity, including daily participation in the shipping and receiving inventory
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and evenings

The Driver/Shipper is responsible for both warehouse duties and merchandising responsibilities. In addition, the Driver/Shipper will complete customer deliveries on an as needed basis.
Responsibilities
- Ship and receive product
- Stock shelves
- Count inventory
- Clean, organize and maintain store and warehouse conditions
- Price and front face product
- Assemble displays
- Complete customer deliveries of product as needed
- Manage inventory i.e. ensuring any shortages/overages are investigated
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Forklift licence an asset
- Experience with shipping/receiving in a warehouse environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Clean drivers’ abstract

Avec notre siège social à Moncton, au Nouveau-Brunswick, nous possédons 44 magasins et plusieurs centres de distribution à travers le pays. Nous recherchons actuellement des manutentionnaires/caristes pour rejoindre notre équipe de Candiac.
Le (la) manutentionnaire/cariste s'assure de la réception et de l’expédition des produits, avec précision, conformément aux commandes des clients et aux documents d'expédition.
Responsabilités
- Réceptionner et expédier les produits*
- Placer les produits en tablette
- Gérer l’inventaire et les bons de commandes
- Veiller au bon fonctionnement l'entrepôt
- Maintenir un environnement de travail sécuritaire
- Le candidat(e) doit pouvoir faire des livraisons locales
Certains produits peuvent être lourds et encombrants. Les candidats(es) doivent être en bonne forme physique
Qualifications
- Diplôme d'études secondaires ou équivalence
- Permis de chariot élévateur (atout)
- Expérience de l'expédition dans un environnement d'entrepôt
- Excellente communication et esprit d'équipe
